Who We Are
The Pearls of Service Foundation was incorporated in 1999 as a non-profit organization serving communities in Southeast Michigan, to enhance the lives of women and minorities in our community. The Pi Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated established the Foundation as a separate corporation.
OUR mission
Our mission is to enhance the lives of women and minorities in Southeast Michigan by supporting and partnering with communities and organizations that promote education, healthcare, economic growth, family development, the arts, and leadership development. Through our programs, grants, and events, we strive to empower and uplift those who need it most, with a focus on building a brighter future for generations to come.
